VeriStor Signs on as Primary Sponsor of the #35 Devin Jones Racing Late Model Team
Southeast Region’s Leading Data Storage and Virtualization Solution Provider Becomes a New Marketing Partner Behind the VeriStor #35 UARA Late Model
VeriStor Systems, the Southeast region’s leading enterprise data storage and virtualization solution provider, and Devin Jones Racing, a leading UARA-STARS Late Model Stock racing team, today announced a marketing partnership for the #35 Devin Jones UARA Late Model. The new VeriStor #35 Late Model will make its debut at Rockingham Speedway for the April 14 UARA-STARS race to be held in conjunction with the NASCAR Camping World Truck series race weekend.
“We are thrilled to have VeriStor as our partner for the historic race at Rockingham Speedway,” said Jones. “They are an impressive organization that serves businesses with a range of expert services for data protection, disaster recovery, virtualization, and technology financing. And, like our team, they have a commitment to excellence like no other. They also have earned a broad reputation as a customer advocate and trusted advisor. It is an honor to drive as a representative of the VeriStor brand. I plan to get them to the podium at Rockingham.”
“Partnering with the Devin Jones Racing team is a perfect way for VeriStor to express its commitment and support for the racing industry,” said Ashby Lincoln, CEO, VeriStor. “As long-time race fans, it will be exciting to see the VeriStor name rounding the track at Rockingham. Devin Jones is a skilled and dedicated driver and we look forward to watching him continue up the racing ladder into the upper ranks of NASCAR very soon.”
The new VeriStor #35 Late Model can be seen at UARA-STARS’ third racing stop of the year at Rockingham Speedway on April 14. This unique race will be held in conjunction with the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series. This is the first time NASCAR has been back at “the Rock” since the then “Winston Cup” race was there in 2004.
UARA-STARS is the premiere touring Late Model Stock series in the country. It runs 16 races throughout the Southeast from March through October. Races are typically run on “short tracks,” but twice a year the late models take to the mile-long Rockingham Speedway.
While 17-year-old Devin Jones may be a “rookie” to the UARA-STARS series, he is a short track racing stand-out with many years of experience racing Super Late Models and Open Wheel cars. After a successful racing career in go-karts, Bandolero cars, and Legends cars, Jones jumped into his first full size stock car at age 14, racing in the Pro All Stars Series (PASS) South Super Late Model touring series for two seasons. He has also run open wheel cars including Skip Barber National Series F2000 and USF2000 formula cars on some of the most famous road courses across the country. His overall racing achievements include 89 feature wins, 86 poles, and eight series championships. He is also a three-time national karting champion, International Karting Foundation “Expert,” and an INEX Legends “Pro.” For more information about Devin Jones, please visit: www.devinjonesracing.com.
