Devin Jones to Run with ESR for NASCAR Truck Debut

Jones to Drive the No. 6 VeriStor Chevy in the Kroger 250

Devin Jones Racing and Eddie Sharp Racing (ESR) today announced that Devin Jones will be running the ESR No. 6 VeriStor Chevy for his NASCAR Camping World Truck debut at Martinsville Speedway during the Kroger 250 on April 6. 

“I am excited to be racing under the Eddie Sharp banner for my first NASCAR Camping World Truck race,” said Jones. “With the No. 6 on the door and VeriStor on the hood, I look forward to making my first appearance in one of NASCAR’s top three series a true success.” 

Devin Jones’ primary sponsor, VeriStor, will be at the event in full force. They view their participation as a NASCAR Camping World Truck sponsor as an integral part of their marketing program to make VeriStor a household name as the leading provider of virtual infrastructure, data storage and cloud services. 

Qualifying for the Kroger 250 will take place at 5:00 p.m. on April 5 with racing at 1:30 p.m. on April 6, during the same weekend as the STP Gas Booster 500 NASCAR Sprint Cup race. Friday practice and qualifying as well as Saturday’s NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race will air live on Fox Sports’ Speed TV.

At 18-years old, Devin Jones is one of top young drivers to make a NASCAR Camping World Truck appearance this year. He is a short track racing stand-out with years of experience in Late Model Stocks, Super Late Models and Open Wheel cars. After a successful racing career in go-karts, Bandolero cars, and Legends cars, Jones jumped into his first full-size stock car at age 14, racing in the Pro All Stars Series (PASS) South Super Late Model touring series for two seasons.
