Devin Jones is slated to be a very busy driver north of the boarder at Canadian Tire Motorsports Park this week. Jones will be piloting the #35 VeriStor Mazda MX-5 in the Battery Tender Mazda MX-5 Cup Series presented by BFGoodrich and the #34 ALARA Racing Mazda MX-5 in IMSA Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge.
Devin Jones made his inaugural start in the IMSA Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge during the Rolex 24 weekend at Daytona International Speedway. Racing the ALARA Racing #34 alongside lead driver Christian Szymczak in the Street Tuner (ST) class, Jones marked a weekend to remember.
The 2015 IMSA Continental Tires SportsCar Challenge season gets under way on Friday as a prelude to the Rolex 24 at Daytona TUDOR United SportsCar Championship race. Mazda is looking to improve on last year’s strong results, which saw it finish third in the Street Tuner Manufacturer’s Championship and score three victories, including two podium sweeps.
