In my own words

I have been lucky enough to have driven and raced in just about any situation, I always learn something new every time I get the chance to drive. I can draw back on past experience many times to help me get through any given curve-ball that is thrown my direction. I love being a student of the sport and learning from those around me, I have gotten to work with some of the best coaches in the business that really helped shape me into the driver I am today. With the right guidance, I believe anyone has a chance to become a driver that is elite, as long as they are willing to learn.

I find that coaching is one of the best ways to become a better driver, it makes you think about some of the techniques that may have become habit or second nature. It requires you to go back and explain those things in a way that makes sense to any given driver at a certain experience level. You really have to know your craft to do this well. Any great driver can go out and drive at the limit but it takes a great coach to explain and instruct how to reach the limit.

It’s one thing to instruct someone to go fast, pointing out braking points ect., but after a certain point a driver will need coaching to reach their full potential. Racing is a sport of tenths and the faster you go the harder it will be to find those last bits of time, that’s where I come in and coaching becomes a huge advantage. Racecraft is something that can’t be instructed, it has to be coached with someone that has experience in those situations.

Every driver has different strengths and weaknesses that I can identify and help shape a plan of action during any certain period of time. There is no cookie cutter instruction or plan for anyone, I want to get the most out of you as a driver, while having fun doing it! The most rewarding thing is when you see something click for a driver and improvements are made. One of the favorite quotes, “It doesn’t get easier, you just get faster."
